Allstate selling HQ as insurer embraces remote work
As insurance giant Allstate puts its offices in Northbrook on the market, it's the finance industry's firmest endorsement yet of the desire to offer hybrid work after the pandemic.

Remote workers can certainly cover the majority of functions within this company. Still need boots on the ground to properly handle damage inspections. The policyholders will only put up with lowball settlements for so long before moving elsewhere. Not to mention state local and federal regulators will eventually catch on to the unfair claim settlements that are being dished out. New rules and regulations are not far away. 1st on the list should be the virtual app, nothing more than a fraud and ponzi scheme.
When they started expanding Irving everyone with minimal intelligence knew Northbrook had its days numbered.
Need money for a new HQ in India
All gloom and doom... This is one of the few things Allstate is doing right... Bring remote first and putting their money where their mouth is something we should celebrate
