The previous poster is correct—you would not achieve any of those perks with a retail union. If you want those kinds of working conditions, your best bet is to go work somewhere for the federal government.

Sounds like a Worker’s Paradise! IF simply giving people more money for the same amount and kind of work, then why not give them even more? Yea, let’s give entry level workers a minimum wage of $35.00/hr, free healthcare, free housing, free college, free childcare—and let’s not stop there. Let’s also give everyone a free car, a free smartphone(everyone has to make phone calls, right?), a free vacation every year, free clothes, and free shoes. Wait! We can’t stop there—let’s just outlaw businesses altogether and put everything under the government. Everybody gets EVERYTHING FOR FREE!
I love it when you demand a increase in wages. The thing is that the more you get paid the more we have to pay for goods. You want more money but then all you do is walk past customers, take long breaks, move like snails and bi--h. If you keep it up you won't need to worry about having a job because all the illegals will have your job and then what? If you don't like your job find something else. There are help wanted signs everywhere. As far as inflation goes stop voting for the people who want to keep giving all these lazy people or people who keep having baby's and think I should have to support them. More and more of my taxes have to pay for you. If we could keep more of our money life would be better. Stop voting for someone who says they are going to give you free sh-t. It's not free it comes out of your check called taxes. Cost of things would go down if we stopped shoplifters. That takes more of my money also.
There is a thing called wage compression. It's happening at every lowes because they need help or will give people a raise if they threaten to leave. The good workers get punished and the bad ones get whatever thy want instead of being fired. If only everyone would stick together we could have things fixed.

Not just a 30% raise, I also want my pay increased since I've been here 3 years and new hires are making $2-4 more PH for the same position I have.
