I hope the atmosphere in other stores is better than it is in my store. It's depressing. The hardest part of my daily job is accepting that atmosphere. Colleagues are completely uninterested in work, which is understandable, because the morale is zero. Honestly, I'm surprised the store hasn't closed yet.

This place is incredibly toxic, one of the worst retail environments I’ve ever had to deal with, the disrespect and nastiness is off the charts.
It’s only going to get worse. If there’s any customers left, this holiday will be horrible. Not enough help. And those booksellers that are there, won’t be trained.
QUIT QUIT QUIT We've had 6 people quit in the last month and more about to give their notices. And the part-timers will not stay much longer either. There are much better companies out there and they'll treat you better than this awful company! Hope upper management gets what's coming to them- a hellish understaffed holiday season, horrible sales and getting fired!
Atmosphere at my store is hostile. It’s always been hostile, there are some very nasty unprofessional people working at my store and their is not much we can do about it. You can’t trust HR you def cannot trust the store manager or ASM it’s just a bad culture here with these id--t disgruntled lifers who are ruining this place. We work with bad people who are tolerated just because they are been at the store forever it’s nonsense.
