This morning we were informed, yet again, of more “restructuring. This round our division head was “leaving” as of…..tomorrow. Poof! After years of service….gone in 24 hours. Upper management did not give us a clear reason but we know the truth. This bloated company is about as ruthless as they come. In 43 years of work I’ve never been associated with a more callous corporation. Instead of getting ready to retire, I’m actively searching for a new job elsewhere. I choose to spend my final working years in peace and not in constant fear. This place is a halfway house to a better life only. Use the name, get experience, and get out soon as you can with your sanity still in tact.
