If you want to go beyond IT educate yourself and target your career around web 3.0 which is the full implementation of immersive gaming , AI, software virtualization, shopping, finance and banking among many others We will do our jobs in Virtual metaverses. "IT" is such a 20th century meaning less term and will be dead and gone. Get ready: your whole life is about to radically change and Chevron doesn't have clue about it! Chevron still thinks the cloud is the future. Chevron has very little vision of course. Don't become like you parents struck in the past.

Our parents lived in the real world. Anything you do or say in the virtual world can and will be used against you, now and/or in the future. Anything that is saved to the cloud has serious security issues. Hackers are relentlessly trying to steal data and/or money. AI bots are taking over social media to control the memes. The power grid is already being overtaxed with an increasing frequency power outages reported almost everywhere. Good luck in your virtual future.
