Too many associates abuse the emergency health leave. After the pandemic if over they need to be who gets laid off.

I figured out a long time ago that someone is making a list and checking it twice regarding this issue. . .
The statement you made is not 100% true. If you fail the health assessment, you will be paid not to come to work. There is no limit to the amount of leaves that can be taken.
All LOAs (regardless of type) are evaluated, reviewed and approved/disapproved by Sedgwick, a third party, not Walmart. This provides a consistent and measurable method to manage LOA requests.
It might be true that some have abused the process. Management gets reports on LOA activity and they are supposed to review them and refer inconsistencies to HR.
Statistically, those that milk the LOA system do get identified by Sedgwick and habitual LOA applicants are flagged.
