If any of you feel that the company is asking for something you're not willing to do, quit. You'll stand by your convictions and help other people by reducing the need for layoffs in a single move. I don't see a problem here, really. I know it is not a perfect solution for everybody, but it beats any alternatives.

Don't Quit! Don't Retire! Bring the pain to them. Stand your ground. Respond to them. Make them say you were fired and for what. Make this as difficult and painful as you can. This is all illegal and unconstitutional.
There are many websites to download documents. You have their names at the bottom of their email sent on Columbus Day. Flood them with forms and data. Send them intent to sue. Freaking DO something. No one is coming to save you. YOU have to save yourself.
If you are still here, there is some part of you that still cares. FIGHT!!!!
If you want to organize.....let's do it. We have to FIGHT!!!!
