Why is it that many other Unions get better results than the rail unions? I know a few other places whose unions get contracts negotiated on time, raises, vacations and fringe benefits that would make you salivate. So whats with these chumps at UTU and BLET?

The Railway Labor Act controls the RR negotiations, long process controlled by the NMB.

you surely don't expect them to waste your dues money on some nonsense like securing you a better contract do you?
Why fight when u r guaranteed a check. A lot less work when u invest in the status quo.
