I have endured their insolent behavior so far, but I do not want them yelling at me. It's already crossed the line. Of all the companies I have been in so far, I have never experienced a superior yelling at me. That is not normal. I immediately gave notice. I just wonder what gives them the right to yell at someone?

Welcome to whole foods..... Where everything will be your fault and a big deal.
Almost 2 years into the pandemic.
At my store in the south the unvaccinated don't even wear masks correctly. Nose or nose and mouth are both uncovered. And the id--ts in charge don't do anything.
Any thoughts about UFCW?
That’s nothing check this out.
There have been injured team members in our store that are on modified duty and the insurance adjuster will take advantage of the stores being under staffed to trap team members like a customers asking “hey can you help me I can’t lift heavy things so please help me ?” and they also asked “do you lift heavy things often?” They will use this to deny your claim on purpose . There is no one else to help them what do you ? The so called customer can also report you for bad service and get you fired workers comp is to get rid of you and your claim. Sad to see hard workers getting fired in that fashion or have their claims denied. Think how obvious is it the first person they talked to was filing a claim.I witnessed it and it was very very shady.
the leadership is walking a tight rope and are probably unsure of their own future...so they are becoming unhinged IMO. might be related to how many people our store has lost . so many people leaving before the holidays
To back up Larry Parker, for anyone still with the company that goes through an incident like this: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. GET IT DOWN IN WRITING. Email, personal statement, however you do it. Get date and time, what the offending party said/did to you, etc. Between "my boss is mean" and "this morning, my boss pulled me into the cooler yell at me about not finishing my production yesterday and he called me x, y and z..." only one of these statements is actionable.
Probably learned that from regional leadership..
The behaviors that team leaders, associates, even store team leaders exhibit these days are unprofessional, to say the least. I realize that isn’t the case in every store, but it is becoming much more widespread.
I know you said you already quit, but to anyone else out there reading this, keep a record of all such incidents.
