I would refer to the post that work will always get done no matter that people are leaving. I somewhat agree, Raytheon squeezes those who are still here as needed so that the job is always completed in the end. However, this is becoming a reason for even more people quitting and I think it is getting harder to get the job done. "The work will get done" changes to "The work will maybe get done".

Ask around about the “hub strategy.” I’m not referring to the one about the new network, but the one about outsourcing as many jobs as possible. This is the idea of the hUTC corporate folks who fail to comprehend we are a US defense contractor, and can’t have non-US citizens working on our efforts.
Who says the work has to be done in USA by USA citizens? There are so many gov't project between allies. If they don't have enough people in USA to work on a project, they will get the allies to help and collaborate on a project. Therefore, "THE WORK WILL GET DONE!"
I think a video game company reference was not the best comparison. Most people on here (I’m just going out on a limb) are probably not playing video games and have no idea what you’re even referring to. I do and it’s a good comparison for those that know the situation.
So as a real-world example you mean like the way the parent video game company EA put so much stress on the Bioware development team they all left the company?
