Folks I think the person posting on here about Husky vs Cenovus staff is most likely some troll just trying to stir things up. I have both Husky and Cenovus on my team and they all get along just fine. I’m not saying everything is perfect but I have not heard any of this vitriol coming from any of our legacy people or anyone else I talk to on other teams. So I would take this all with a huge whole lot of skepticism. My bet it’s just some bitter person trying to drag people down. It’s getting a bit much.

The current price of oil and crazy energy prices are keeping us all afloat, believe it or not. Folks may not like it but this is a reality. If oil price will crash you will see way more people shown the door. It will be a disaster. Enjoy your time and buckle up.

The heavy lifters within both companies are definitely not the issue. It's a systemic layoff problem since 2014 and the real reasons why, it's a business strategy. Typical olagargy, nothing to see here. Who has been doing the accounting, auditing, and measuring of what you have been doing to people or that you have failed to do the basic human resource minimum functions for the employees and their health as well as defining and executing both the organizations culture and codes of contact for the past 6 years. Writing down some policies isn't enough especially when you have become a company known for can't ever do what you say you are doing Keep on spreading the mantra for all the very new and young workers that you have to go along to get along here. What a great message for the next upcoming generation, just look the other way 110% of the time and you'll be fine. It hasn't worked out for very many since 2014.
How can anything change here if there isn't the will to admit just how many people you harmed and threw out to the curb and more importantly continue say your not doing that anymore over and over. You lost all trust several years ago of most employees and denied this fact publicly and dismissed it as a couple of bad apples. Investors left your companies because of how you treated your employees, the employees you tore down and threw away, the ones that gave you the competitive advantage in the industry, most all gone. Nobody wants your trash anymore. Shame on you.
I doubt its a troll. People are super nice to your face at work but the minute your back is turned they will put a kn--e in it. That is just the Cenovus way. What do you expect with layoffs every year since 2012
