Another cost savings for the company on the back of employees is BYOD. You pay for your personal phone where the bank gets a free ride and wants you to use it for business support. No raises, bad health insurance....
This place is the pits. The only people who benefit are senior level employees with their stock options on the backs of the rest of us.
I have received one 1% raise in the past 6 years. And I bet I will not see another. Their speeches about how valued we are definitely are NOT backed by money.
Not sure about you, but I have gotten a raise every year for the last 9 years besides maybe 1. Contractor is not consider employee

What type on medication are you on ???
Think about it, the company has been laying off people for the past 20 years.
During the last 12 years raises have been maybe 2% if your lucky
Their have been periods of 3 to 5 years when the company did not give out any bonuses to the workers
And you really think they are going to give out cola ???
Are you dreaming? Very few State Street employee has ever get one salary increase in the past 5 to 10 years.
Will tell you be glad you are still here.
Be thankful you have a job! Get ready to hear that from your manager when you ask why there were no merit increases!
