Of course, I’m sorry for those who still want to stay here for a while longer, but I inquire about layoffs because I’d love to be cut. Has anyone heard anything new about layoffs?

The IRIFs are ongoing monthly. They have been going on since the CEO and CHRO have been in office. If any of you wonder about the company's future, remember to read on what Carl Icahn (Xerox's largest shareholder) does with distressed companies...he breaks them down to nothing and sells them off for profit. My advice...look for a better job NOW while you have a job. Leave the company hanging with no notice because the day you are notified of your layoff IS your LAST DAY. No advanced notice, nothing. You get only ONE OR TWO weeks of medical coverage and no further! The company really doesn't care about its employees...please don't think they ever would. You are there as a work robot. And the day you aren't able to work at their command or work the job of 3 or 4 people is the day you will be put on that list for the next IRIF!
I am sure they planned to do more but the amount of people quitting helped them out
The corporate rats are talking all the cheese..Leave before there is nothing left .
Then you should quit. You are d-mb enough to think there is some benefit to an IRIF.
Stay there long enough until your marketability and skills have atrophied & you are old and no longer marketable - then eventually you will get your wish. Leave on your own dude. The job market is hot & the so called ‘package’ you get will is tiny and not worth sticking around for.
Make a critical or contrary comment to an EC member esp HR, more so if valid, to get your self out the door in a hurry
They will lay you off for Technical incompetence, but not sure you want to go there. Just thinking out loud
