Devils Advocate You get paid to work a job then work it. Don't cry about having to do "extra work" when they take you off a road train and make you do yard work. Don't cry because you are doing railroading but its in a different seniority districts zone. Just do your job, you are being paid regardless......That being said, if there are agreements then WTF follow them and if the Company wants you doing everything just make an agreement that specifies that so there is no confusion and pay a higher wage to account for that fact. I hate that there are "agreements" that say what you cant and can do and when Company violates there are crying sessions about it. Because in most industries you are paid to do a basic job, only in Union work is there a mentality of not wanting to work the same damn job because of some artificial boundaries between the same sort of work. Flame away on me but you know its true that Railroading is Railroading no matter if you are doing yard work or Road work. This Union mentality makes me sick because the Unions sold out their workforce so don't pretend they deserve the dues you send them.

Don't tell these guys here that they should work and do their jobs, it doesnt fly to these "Union Brothers". And then they wonder why other industries have better employees and Unions!
Hey guys, I found the typical ignorant 'ta-d who thinks he is the bee's knees because he got a job with barely a high school education. And they cant even do their job and they behave like they are still in grade school. Yeah, that's 98% of people working the crafts!
I believe OP is a trainman because there is too much koolaid drinking and id--ts in the crafts. I mean really, I have 2 college degrees unrelated to anything involving railroads and a majority of people I work with out here would be lucky to be a Walmart greeter and act like high school children. That being said there are some true professional old heads who are pure railroad Pro's but there are too many d-mb fcks who think the Unions protect them. And I feel for them. I have more education than most of these Trainmasters not to mention craft experience and its pathetic how many Conductors out here who sleep on trains and don't do their jobs. Yeah I certainly downgraded in careers education wise but its decent blue collar money but damn NS is run by Cowards.....
Since the others have already figured the original post out I guess there is no reason to go on, but if they’re wrong and you are a trainman I want to thank you for showing others the reason the unions are weak.
I doubt that they are even a supervisor. More like a non railroader troll
Sure sounds like it
Hey guys, found the supervisor trying to pass himself off as a regular guy.
