@n-p+1damuwVc This isn’t McDonald’s this is State Farm home and auto insurance, this is why she won the suit. We hire id--ts.

I have no idea how her claim was rejected, or the full details but we got terribly PR’d by elites.

Another L for State Farm this year.

That's OK, it will have zero effect on my compensation.

FYI - The lady who was burned by the coffee was not driving. She was in the parking lot. She sustained third degree burns and required skin grafts. McDonalds at the time had a policy of making ridiculously hot coffee so people wouldn’t complain it was not hot at their destination. They received over 700 burn incident reports leading up to this incident and failed to change the policy. Negligence.

Overturned on appeal, or greatly reduced for sure.

“We are happy they saw the case the way we do. This should send a message to State Farm and other institutions that they should not forget they are dealing with human beings.”

Savage.

The jury did not feel we paid what we owed. And the alleged $100M spilled coffee award was actually a little less than $3M and occurred in New Mexico. Perhaps we simply made mistake in our evaluation, perhaps not.

Someone is disappointed SF paid what they owe and went to court rather than cave to some celebrity temper tantrum. LOL.

Remember when a California jury awarded $100million to a woman who spilled her coffee on herself while driving? Take judgements like this from California with a grain of salt. Ask any injury CS or TM about some of the judgements they see in total BS cases.

So disappointed to be associated with this company! Wake Up! Your pretend world is wrong from the top! You could have resolved this mess long ago and what have you spent on legal fees? How in the world is taking this kind of risk an incentive to gain new customers? We hear you! And we don't want to be near you! Thanks for going to the mat shannon! So many cannot afford to do it!
