Hello union guy. Are you still here? Is it true that 51% of a team can become unionized? So if 2 astls vote yes on union would the whole store become a union? Asking for a friend. A lot of astls are really really really tired of working 45+ hours and hours. heard some are trying to unionize. Has anyone heard of this? It would be funny if that happens. What they gotta lose at this point. 2% increase a year its a joke. Imaging starting at $E6hr while tls make a lot more than that and they work you to the ground and at ur jd THEY give u 2% increase. It is really depressing. While tls get more than 5% increase.

We have several atl’s that shifty but regional presidents are unaware that they plant the union bug at store level.
Anyone above TL can’t be part of collective bargaining. It’s why ATLs can’t shifty.

So much for being called heros. And here we get 1%-3% increase in pay as astls when a lot of tls make a lot more due to double ot. No wonder astls are talking about union and are very unhappy.
@1smo+1daT6djq, you are funny. They now have a system in place? There are so many bugs in that system it will never work. Quite disappointed in Amazon. I thought for sure they would bring us some really good IT stuff. I would rather go back to old school stuff then use this cr-p. Too many glitches/problems. It doesn't work like it is supposed to. Those suggested orders are the worst but if you don't order them you get in trouble. Global making terrible decisions, seems like they are trying to tank us. You can't say every STL is bad and all ASTLs work hard. My STL works hard, our ASTLs not so much. We used to have fantastic ASTL's but they are now fantastic STLs. It is the person, not the position. 10 yrs ago a union wasn't needed. JM took care of us but he has since sold us out to an evil company who cares nothing about it's workers. He is now retiring and taking his 13 billion and giving us the middle finger. Thanks for nothing JM,
Hellz no. Im already up my neck with all the tasks i have to do. Im not shifting for anyone. What they need to do is combine teams again now that all orders are going to be done automatically. The first time they did, they didn’t have a system in place. But now they do. They dont need stl at every store. The astls do all the job anyway. They should do the same they did for pbs. Have one stl run 2-3 stores and let them fight for the position. Save a lot of money. Astls dont make much as stls but they do all the work.
some regions had those "shift leader" positions where they had someone closing up the shop and putting the mans money in the safe at night all for about 21$ per hour..if they impose this position global and use TL as sh-t leaders intermittently they might be able to downsize the astl position....
Never would have believed it until I heard it myself. Never have I ever heard the astl’s until a few weeks ago talking about union you heard me union.What!
They didn’t realize they are salary and overworked for 45+hrs unless amazon gives admin the over bloated budget to cover obr’s and vacations that can be placed on team leadership and all issues can be submitted online to tms via share point or email your assigned pbs to prevent lawsuits.Astl’s are a thing of the past if tl’s work their 1 closing shift and work 1 week end day per week the amount of money from astl’s savings is huge across the company. Watch whole foods make more cuts at the money making end instead of dead limbs it will be the death of the brand.
A lot of tms including tls have more loyalty to astls than stls. Sooooooo
