Ever played the old online game called Oiligarchy circa 2008-2009? I won’t spoil the final levels outright, but I will say that it takes “human energy” to a whole new level.
It's probably that Carbon Capture fad.
You know humans have a fairly high carbon content - mostly in fat.
They are also easy to find and capture.
