Fun fact: this company’s high-level execs that are responsible for shipments ALWAYS drop the ball. Then they lower-level workers clean up and chase after their mess.

Over the last decade Nordstrom has taken what works and decided it did not work and in an effort to improve things made changes with a vague goal of system improvement and cost cutting neither of which has happened in most cases. They pushed out the folks that actually understood what works and systematically denadded those who remained while hiring outsiders to play expert. They have been paying the price. Sure there are issues with Supply Chain do to the pandemic however many and most of the problems at this point are self inflected. They may actually understand that however the multitude of issues have them lurching from crisis to crisis without competent leadership or direction to identify the most important problems to work on and implement effective solutions.

Supply chain, sure. Someone on here predicted the Rack would crash due to the new strategy of going cheaper... seems people aren't liking it.
