I understand that it's a hot job market out there and that employees can pick and choose where to work, but that doesn't mean that we should be lowering our standards as much as it's been happening. Yes, I'm swamped with work. Yes, I desperately need help. But I don't need people who have no idea what they're doing and who'll depend on me to show them/do their job for them for weeks after being hired. That only creates more work for me and slows me down even further. For goodness' sake, hire people with at least some experience!

Yes, I see there are plenty of American with experiences cannot find a job.
Some of my friends are working outside insurance.
Because companies do not hire them, age matters.
And H1B visa workers have Masters degree that we do not have, much cheaper too.
I think you need to look to the training they are getting as well. And, think about it — a child could have foreseen the business surge we’re experiencing. It doesn’t take an actuary to know that once the lockdown is over, activity will redouble and claims will come pouring in. Could we not have hired and trained in advance of this surge? Why didn’t we?
