Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

26 year salary manager

Hi I was a 26 year Salary manager for Walmart . Had an outstanding record for performance and team building with a ho-e wall full of plaques documenting my performance over a 26 year career
Then in June of 2017 I was in a bad accident that required surgery . So I had to report an accident . Just a few days befor the accident I was given an award . When I got into the accident everything changed for my I was know longer a great manage . The startedretaliating against me when they found out after the surgery I had to be in oxygen and in a wheelchair Thr market hr manager to bring me in the managers office and coming up with any reason to disapline me . And she eventually fired me for being disabled . This is just a brief summary of how I was treated for getting into an accident in the store . Well is great at pretending to care for associates but they do not at all .

Lawyer up. If what you say is true, you’ve got a shot at a big payday.

And don’t communicate with Walmart. Have the attorney do the talking for you.

This is fake news. Absolutely false. Total made up BS. It’s simply impossible to be true as it’s written. I’m not sure why people put this kind of made up stuff on here.

You definitely need a good attorney. Since it's Walmart corporation they will take the case on contingency because they know they will get a big payday. If you are in California definitely pursue the case. Cases like yours have been successfully won in California. I know, my wife's law firm deals in cases such as yours.

Hopefully, you will get better.

First of all, I am so sorry to hear of your accident and resulting health issues.

Sadly, no this company doesn't give a damn about you or your years of service to them. Once you've cost them money via their self-funded health insurance plan, you are toast. My guess is also that you are north of 50 years old. Long term associates over 50 walk around with a huge target on their back. They are a soulless, garbage employer.

The good news is there is like after frickin' Sam's Club. Go find it!
