Hopefully it goes to trial
Regarding patents: they do take a long time (years) to be processed by the patent office, once submitted. Additionally, IBM also files patents that were in the internal pipeline, even if the author(s) are all no longer employees. Another interesting thing is that IBM still pays a few hundred dollars for patents to the author(s) once they are issued, even if they are no longer employed by IBM.
Are there any age discrimination issues in India? Could be another reason to move. Just saying. Just when you think IBM has hit the all-time low, there's yet another lower level. No longer a surprise coming from them.
Just to remind all of us that we have been or will be victims of the "Concord Project", the 2018 iteration of a series of annual layoffs. I was one of the first iteration.
Looks like many of his patents are recent and still being granted years after the layoffs

100 patents WOW I wonder if IBM knew to use this or any of their leadership patents position to create products or they are just buying companies like Redhat for $34B.
