How many will be leaving? In my department, I think about 2/3s. This will hurt.

seems like OP knew this announcement was coming a week in advance 😂
Moot point when most of them filed for a religious exemption. Last estimate was around 15,000 officers AND NYPD civilian staff. The backlog is expected to take over a year for review. Also, cops and their staff reviewing cops’ applications for a religious exemption will lead to cops keeping their jobs. Cop loyalty is strong. Cops get a pension when staying. Global employees don’t.
Anyone with a brain can figure that out.
In NYC the NYPD UNION claimed they would close precincts due to the Mayor's mandate and so many officers would quit instead of getting vacinated. When the deadline arrived, the total quit was 34 (thirty-four).
If people don't have the b-lls to take a vacination, do you really think they have the b-lls to quit their job, get real people.

Definitely pay is reason for people leaving. Many waited for IPO hoping free shares will provide relief.
Pay check to paycheck people impacted by inflation
25% of our team has been exploring the idea of leaving over the mandate. There are good paying jobs out there that don’t require it.
The mandate is heading to the Supreme Court where it will likely be struck down anyway.
Of all the reasons to leave GF it’s barely on my radar.
up arrow for leaving, no response for getting the stab
