Considering taking a position here in spite of the red flags for family reasons. Does anyone know how tolerable it might be at this site:)?

Webster campus resembles a modern day ghost town, sadly, with many vacant buildings. Tumbleweed has not set in yet.
Pay for Webster seems to be in line with other companies in the area on average.
Problems are the benefits are way below everyone else in Webster. And there is no 401k match. Oh and you will never get a promotion, so you will be at that pay level for a long time.
So if you are healthy, invest in retirement on your own, you should be good for a couple of years. After that...well could be time to move on.
Have you uploaded your vaccine card yet? First things first.
Depends on what you tolerate.
Co-workers trying to tank you to save themself? Managers blaming you rather than take responsibility? Working for a company that misrepresents capabilities to investors? Worst benefit package in the nation?
"...reasonable pay and benefits..."
What is wrong with you?
Salary is competitive at least in my area. Benefits are not.
If you want to be in the Rochester area and this job pays competitively and looks like something you'd like, take it if you have no other options. The days of working an entire career at a company are long over, so don't feel you have any obligation to stay if you find something better. Most of the people are good, regardless of what some disgruntled people here say.
I assume you know the salary and whether it is competitive. Medical is lousy, but that's a trend with many companies in the area, so they aren't alone with giving cr---y healthcare, just ahead of the trend.
Do what's best for you and family.
If taking the job enables you to financially afford to move to the Rochester area, then consider it. You can always look around at other, more employee friendly companies in the area once you're here. For example, right on the Webster campus, if you are interested in supply chain/logistics, you could apply at Tessy Plastics who just bought several warehouse buildings from Xerox.
I work in Webster. The people I work with are great. I love my job. I work long hours because there is more work than people. As someone previously stated; the benefits are costly for what you get.

What is wrong with you?
Depends on many other factors than location. Webster doesn’t mean much in the context of your question.
If it looks like something you'd like with a reasonable pay and benefits, go for it.
Is no 401k match and garbage health care reasonable benefits to you Ms. Platitudes?
You never know what the future may hold, no matter where you are.
Oh gawd Ms. Platitudes, the stupid Java programmer, strikes again.
What sort of position? I've enjoyed the people I work with and for in Webster. You never know what the future may hold, no matter where you are. If it looks like something you'd like with a reasonable pay and benefits, go for it.
Which position? Fetal or…
Family reasons? Unless you’re referring to nepotism digging a ho-e in the woods would be a better option.
Red Flags!! Try like ..nuclear blasts in the sunset. 💥💥 🇨🇳
Please consider your options. Honestly. Think about it.
You will be a casualty of this mess.
Read all the boards, go back away.
If only 5% is true …why would you want to come here ? Just saying.
Good luck on whatever you decide.
