It is now very easy to guess whether a new employee will stay for a year or less. New hires on average I don’t think stay longer than that.
Perhaps PepsiCo made a mistake with such a strategy, because I can understand that it is in their financial interest to replace an older employee with a younger one who costs less and has more enthusiasm, but is it completely crazy when new people come to replace those who have not lasted even a year? Just saying.

Employees not hired in as College hires see that system for the morale ki---r it is. Long term employees work hard to move up only to be working with Day One College Hires at same band level starting at 10% more pay. This company is disrepectful to long term employees.
oh well be the way they want it, who cares
This may be greater than PEP. A headhunter called me for a job, same as the one I have, 30 percent jump in salary BEFORE seeing my CV. I see a company bidding to catch and keep staff.
The companies hiring practices have become a complete joke and everyone is paying for it. New hires don't care and will leave for 5 cents more to do less. They are effectively tearing the company apart and no one cares anymore
