This seems like a bad idea to troll people who are affected by the layoff. ERISA is a common document shared across entire company. If it is not updated in ERISA, no one is getting any additional severance. Why would company provide additional severance to people who already signed an agreement to accept the severance(and terms/conditions) ? Sad to see people resort to such threads instead of helping affected people.
On another note, anyone has suggestions on how to replace our Cigna (Exclusive) other than cobra? $2100 a month for employee + family is insane and brutally expensive.
I just left Sales for another department in July. Been there in Sales multiple years. Is there validity or details to this base week increase amendment? I did not sign my documents yet, I’m curious if this was an unspoken incentive to sign separation docs earlier, or it was given to all Sales org lay offs?
I’m wasn’t in Sales when I got notice Monday and did not get an amendment notification….so Sales doesn’t pertain to me …..either way would like to know if anyone has any further detail surrounding this?

This doesn't sound right. Atleast, not for engineering. Citrix doing something for ex-employees doesn't sound right either.

Doubling the base separation package, say if they were previously offering 8 weeks it’s now 16 weeks
Uh what ? I haven't signed, but what are they doubling and for whom ?
Still need that great place to work title and good Glassdoor reviews some how. All about the optics, so new they can engage a new set of oblivious workers, fu-k them for a few years (if they don’t get laid off before they) and have the same thing happen again.

For double the benefits--I wouldn't even speak Citrix name again 🤣.
For those that already signed, basically increasing the base payout to 2x the number of weeks stated in the “ ERISA Severance Plan Document”
