Anyone else think that Macy’s looking to spin off their .com business after shutting down their whole SF office almost 2 years ago is laughable?

What is being spun off exactly? A website and backend mainframe services on life support - and that life support is outsourced to low end contractors in other countries.
Then again, the business challenges of a separation will drive both stores and ecomm into the ground.
