I'm sure this is a good way to force new hires to stay from a manager's perspective.

If you haven't been there enough years the 401k match they give you doesn't vest and you lose it. I know many people that this happened to in 2019. It's not much of a benefit if the company can take it away at random. I wonder if they made a bunch of money off those unsuspecting people.

If you get fired do you lose your pension? Can GM seize the money matched in your 401 K?

Zero worry. The GM mandate is coming, as all whores will walk in lockstep.

We have enough in 401k and assets, to sit out about 15 years. The stock market made everyone very rich. There's nothing they can do when they fire you, and the 401ks are instantly distributed. Nothing hangs over your head.

In the coming years or less, either the insanity is remedied, or magnified. At least you can sit on the sideline as the world burns.

I forgot to add the OSHA action doesn’t apply to federally contracted workers

Ford guy here. Most Ford salaried employees were declared to be federally contracted workers even if they had no connection to federally contracted work. That eliminates the weekly testing option.

So far no information about hourly , represented salaried, Ford Credit , or salaried at manufacturing or depot facilities had been released. That may be the log jam that backs everything up past January 4

Not worried but its very likely coming. Ford and Stellantis have already rolled it out so it could only be a matter of time. My understanding is the Detroit 3 have been meeting together to discuss workplace COVID policies.

Unless GM is waiting to see the outcome of the supreme court challenge on the OSHA vaccine mandate. imo thats one chance you have for GM not applying a mandate.
