Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Industry leader

Ever notice that Allstate always talks about being an industry leader but then when changes like this are made they justify them by saying that they're keeping up with industry trends?!? Leaders don't follow trends.

This post made me laugh. Why do they still talk about Allstate as the industry leader?

Wilson and his failed management team are further diving this once great company straight in the ground.

I said that- I meant that Allstate leaders and/or those that have drank enough blue Kool-Aid are the only ones that still think we're industry leaders. In other words, nobody outside of Allstate thinks we're leading anything. I've been here 10 years, I don't see us leading anything, we're chasing the competition and chasing our tails. Every good idea, suggestion, innovation, etc. dies a slow death via committee and a million useless meetings. There's always some red tape or insane reason we can't do logical, practical things that would increase efficiency, productivity, etc.
