What religion allows alcohol consumption but considers the vaccine a poison? And how is this vaccine different from immunizations that everyone received irrespective of their religion?

Hearing that plant religious exemptions will be accepted as 20% are unvaccinated or declined to respond to the tracker.

I know of a female at PFNA who got a religious exemption. Applied in August and had to follow-up with HR multiple times before finally getting them to provide an answer near Thanksgiving.

@zot+1dS9AfGY The legal definition of "religious" exemption does not necessarily refer to a religion, it refers to a firmly held personal conviction. Atheists can site religious exemptions just as well as a person of faith. Corporations cannot force you to believe something nor can they examine your soul to see the depth of your belief. Any company pushing this boundary has the sword of Damocles hanging over their head. They WILL regret it.

I work on the side of the beast processing these policies downward from corporate. Corporate actually fired executives for not being vaccinated, and I’m not kidding. They will not hesitate with salaried employees either as soon as the labor market is hot - they can’t hire people to even recruit people right now!

I read this in HR's email, is this for us to use religious exemption?

• Associates who are legally entitled to an accommodation (pursuant to applicable law), may request one by reaching out to their HRBP by December 31, 2021.

Exemption form is a joke. Asks denomination and signature from religious official, both of which should be irrelevant as it’s a self held belief. So basically, they aren’t even giving you fair consideration from the start.

if you opt out, they will put you on suspension the probably fire you. right now they dont have a plan for salaried non-exempt or Frontline. they hope if Frontline sees salaried employees having to get a jab then the frontline will do the same. they dont plan on allowing weekly testing because it is too much work to coordinate.

I pulled my wagon up to the office and planted my foot down in the manager's office.
We sell alot of very valuable products to the public that has to have them, I said.
My manager says: Why, yes, we do.
I say: My Latter-Day Bo-g pastor tells me I do not need this vaccine.
My manager says: You don't need a job then.

That was the process.
So the answer is No.

It probably depends on your tenure, ethnicity and s-x. You will be on unpaid leave until they realize that your claim is illegitimate. At that point they will part ways with you. You see, it’s all about sharing the same space in order to have lots of fun together in person. We can’t afford to lose non-salaried, so we might just pay out the nose for weekly testing. Your termination will help absorb some of that expense. Also, they will fill your spot with 4 college hires in the next two years. Having fun, balancing expense, furthering a weird agenda, what more could you ask for from your family?
