Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

It gets even worse

Calderoni quoted today, “We’ve got too many instances where we have too many people getting compensated on the same deal,” he told analysts. “I don’t think that’s a good thing. I think that not only adds more cost, I think it also takes away sales capacity at the same time.”

So folks, the problem isn't Citrix's leaders bad decisions or failed acquisitions, the problem is that they are just paying salespeople way too much and too many people. I mean who reeeeeally needs a sales engineer or product specialist emirite?? :-) Maybe they are just trying to clear the balance sheet for a sell off or to be aquired, otherwise this is just more of the same unaccountable sh---y leadership.

I agree, more cuts coming Q4 or Q1 for people who weren't affected this round once they figure out the restructure. They still need to show the street a "strong Q4".

Just like everyone else says on here - If they keep the same incompetent leaders in sales from VP's to managers, they will keep churning reps.
Most have left because of directors or mangement, the final nail in the coffin was the unattainable quotas that ELT rolled out.

I swear Citrix is the most sh---y company. Who says that? Leaders don't want to take responsibility so they flat out say it is because we are paying our sales people that we failed? What a joke. Many companies do this and they are doing more than fine. Leave Citrix. Don't stay at a company that doesn't see your value!
