Has anyone heard of this new CSM position in the New integrated stores? What is it and what does it entail? Are other management positions eliminated? Details please 😊

The post with the description of the CSM role is spot on! Except these positions are are called sales managers in our store. Useless waste of payroll.

Other retailers have similar positions. Some stores also call them Customer Experience Managers. The previous poster is right to say that this position is more involved with customer service.

I think you mean Innovative stores.

It's a sales manager job but with more focus on customer service than in the past.

No, the other manager jobs remain
All work together to keep the place running.

I have the inside source from the gossiping sales captain.. CSM new role is sitting in break room for 4-5 hours and answering calls from real problems but just telling the associate to use their numbers to over ride the sale. Next, the managers will be trying to set up that one employee who can do their job better and fast for much less money in a elaborate AP sting operation better known as " customer complaints "
also in the new hand book it says to do a least 2 hour lunch breaks and have a small booze cabinet in their back stock room office. Next they have to start fixing the store for the grand ole walk thru from the bigger much higher paid time wasters at the expensive of the health of the much harder working associate .
