Is there going to be any reorg or Raytheon layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

If you pay attention and look around at what things are happening at your level, and the levels above and below you, you’ll find that there are almost always indications of things to come. By levels I mean you, your boss, hiss boss etc. as well as any people under you and anyone under them. There are procedures to everything, be it building closures or reductions. It’s almost always right in front of you if you just take the time to look. There will likely be no info for direct layoffs or plant closures. What we need is info on things that appear to be strange or are out of the norm for what is considered business as usual. Low work load, people being transferred or promoted out of the building, etc.
With so many employees retiring or leaving because of the vaccine there might not be any need for layoffs since the work force will already be reduced. But I think the merger is an ongoing process and where they find more redundancy or non value added functions then those will be let go. They are also reducing footprint so buildings and locations will be closed and that will also affect the workforce. This applies to all BU both legacy RTN and UTC.
I've not heard anything yet. However, they do have the tendency to make smaller layoffs around Holidays in the hopes no one notices.
