I'm looking forward to layoffs. At this point, I'd rather be laid off than stay in this toxic dump. If there's a way, I'll even volunteer.

Thrive is a joke. All it is for is to better the career of the people who implemented it. I've applied to many jobs via our career site and only gotten one job. I'm with a few others here, once I get ICP and my final RSUs vest, I'm leaving to go to a cloud provider. All we are focused on now is selling via cloud providers so I might as well move to the source. Also, people leave managers, but they also leave companies too.
Generally speaking, toxic environments are created by the negative interactions of those who believe the environment is toxic. Its self fulfilling.
The rest of us are quite happy. I been with the company well over a decade. There was a time when the morale of the staff was low a few years ago which is when we stopped the GPTW submissions. We have restarted the submission process, it will be interested to see how morale is now. Personally I think its the best its been in a long time.
If you really believe its a toxic dump, maybe its time for a change - off you go.
Volunteer instructions: send your supervisor an email stating you'd like to put in your two-weeks.
Toxicity is at the lowest in a long time? What part of the company do you work in? Because where I’m at I’ve never seen it worse. I’ve been here a hair over 15 years, I haven’t even looked at other job postings in a decade. With any luck I’ll be out before year end. The company is bleeding people. My team has been losing people faster then we can hire them and my new manager, a year old, just yells, all the time.
Toxic? With all the recent Thrive stuff (despite far too many rah rah Zoom meetings), toxicity is at the lowest I can recall in a long time.
Volunteer for what? Not sure I am following.
But seriously, if you know of a way to volunteer, please let me know.
