What have I gotten myself into? Meetings never end, only a few people are allowed to be funny ( or crack jokes ) in meetings, only a few people are allowed to talk at length in these so-called meetings. Articulate colleagues are mostly mute, maybe because they know their ideas, thoughts are not gonna go anywhere. People start a conversation with no precursor about a certain topic and end it with no regard to others in conversation - and when time runs out, they say that's all we got for this. The only difference between a highly placed individual and others is that this individual has information firsthand and can choose to share it at their discretion.
Most debatable topics end with "it's like that because I say it is like that". How have been people living here? Take a frigging bow.

Quit and find another job while you can. NA used to be a great place to work for engineers. Now its a cesspool of toxic liberalism.
