I do so much overtime that I no longer call it overtime but extra job.
The reason---> we don't have enough people.
I’m too tired and I absolutely don’t intend to exhaust myself so much anymore. I'm just wondering what it will look like when I suddenly stop doing so much overtime? Our manager should find another way to get all that work done.
Why you think so many people left and chose not to reapply. Some could of applied and stayed but the better job you do the more you get. When you take a team from 10-15 employee's down to 4 it’s not worth your mental health.
This is how CF operates to saddle folks down with triple the workload where you work long hours and can barely take a break. I decided to take an early retirement because I'll be damned if I ended up with a stroke. The job was no longer worth it. CF has been turned into a corporate sweatshop thanks to the leadership of the CEO. Save yourself, your health and peace of mind before it's too late.
I just want to second the guy who said look elsewhere. People are paying big right now, CF is rotten from the top up, nothing goods going to come from working htere.

If you think Managers are differentiating you are wrong. They can't. The rules around CAD are too restrictive. At the end of the day you get a pool of money and you have to spread it around to all the folks that work for you so it averages to the % HR has set. Have an employee who is under the MRP threshold? You can either give them a raise in October or wait until CAD. Do that and it impacts the raise of everyone else. You have multiple people on your team who you consider high performers? Too bad, there's no extra money - just that pool. It's a sh*tty system. Keep working that OT though, I'm sure when you die you'll be so glad you spent so much extra time at work, it will all have been worth it.
As a salaried employee you are expected to do what it takes to get the job done. Forget about breaks, lunch and even dinner - my meetings are stacked up. No time for those luxuries.
Overtime without compensation is wage theft. If a thief stole your purse/wallet you'd get to call the police. Why do corporations think it's okay to steal your productivity?
Look around, everyone is hiring right now. Trust me, wherever you will go they will treat you better then CF.
I was laid off recently and one of the reason I believe was that I argued with my manager on same topic.
I am making way more what CF was paying me.
