Thread regarding Cenovus Energy layoffs

Was the same thing in Husky for many years. Looks like some things never change.

If we had less whiners and incompetence in the team, then we would be done by now!!! So sad we have these weak people.

In our group I watched as our director clearly presented false information to our VP and I was stunned to read the slides in the presentation. Totally different group but same idea, no one questioned any of the data and we all knew it was twisted /changed from what we provided. And no one could do anything.

I am a male and will say she is incompetent. It was an awful promotion. She was always a bully, but now you are going to watch a rat scurrying in the new year. You can't snow people like that.

And I bet the Board gets the same update.

Cenovus culture is built on this approach because the Exec team never walks down the hall and talk to people like good leaders do in other companies.

They are afraid to leave their floor (virtual or in person).

This creates a late reactive decision making process across the board which keeps Cenovus at the bottom of the peer pack.

Total lie and extremely unethical. They are looking after their own hides to get max compensation while simultaneously acting like everyone else is stupid. Bunch of con artist grifters.
