This is the perfect time to leave this dump that doesn't give a damn about its employees. I don't know many people who could say a nice word about working here these days, so I'm surprised that I don't see more people leaving. I've been looking for less than a month and I already got one offer. It's not ideal, but it proves that the jobs are out there. Don't miss this opportunity, folks!

With the employment market the way it is an after that last market watch call, it's apparent that it's time to start looking. They stumbled through the market watch call, barely, and now we're waiting to have deals come to us, rather than chase them. In other words, we are going in full sustainment mode. We're not built for sustainment, remember the "we're built for the hunt". Our cost structure doesn't allow us to survive in sustainment mode, we need acquisitions...
Time to start looking hard... wonder if they're looking to be acquired ourselves?
I received a job offer last week (which I have accepted) and while doing due diligence on the firm, I looked at their Layoff page, and was floored to see a post about Pembina warning people over there about working here. It was the long list of ~15 things of how shady the company is, and had 6 upvotes.. so word appears to be out. If the person who posted that reads this.. kudos!
Working for this company, who are so unapologetically out to grind us up, while simultaneously demanding unwavering loyalty isn't worth it. It's insanity. And when they do lay us off, will treat us like dirt. When people leave, refuse to get caught up with the internal ly--h mob discrediting good people who have the courage and foresight to get out.
Good for you. I'm looking at other opporunties, just taking my time to find the right one.
