Listen, if you look through all the threads, there’s always an army of trolls claiming “A culling is coming (insert date here)”. And they’ve always been full of sh*t. But this time the CEO himself said they were getting funding for one time charges (corporate speak for layoffs). But he said later in q4. I don’t believe the Nov 17th date but yeah I’m sure many of us aren’t going to have a merry Christmas
So basically what you are saying is, it is either
- a Happy Thanksgiving or
- a Happy and prosperous New Year
gift from Citrix to all the hard working employees. We are glad the Christmas gift is likely ruled out.
If the axe comes down this year, Nov 17 is the date. End of Q makes no sense due to holidays and optics. Its either the 17 or next year in mid Jan/Feb. Those are the dates always.
@twp+1dH61fLM Were you the one who a while ago was saying BS to layoff threads? I saw similar language then when you were falsely mentioning that Citrix had not done any layoffs since 2015 and has a very healthy and upbeat business.

I am with you brother/sister, I just wish this thing was voluntary so I could get it over with right away instead of hopping they would choose me.
The Company did a survey a few months ago asking employees questions around the vax and return to office. Most employees responded that they have taken the vax or will get fully vaxxed before returning to the office.
Some (a low percentage) responded that they do not intend to get the vax and will work from home full time.
Those are the ones being targeted for layoffs. And yeah, sure "surveys are anonymous".
I want to leave yesterday as I hate this place and it’s toxic environment. The management is so incompetent they could not put a round peg in a square ho-e.
But I’m hoping and praying for a layoff package and Nov 17’th is not that far away and I do believe in unicorns.
God help me in my decision and path as the righteous will always persevere through the valley of fear and despair.
