I'm here for just a few more days, but I have a feeling that every day is as long as a year, it has become so miserable to work here. Very quickly I got an offer that is much better than the job here.
I don't understand why I stayed here so long, just as I don't understand the people who are waiting for the last day for their store to close and be cut. There aren't many places where it's worse than working at Belk.

Face it. The company wasn’t that great even back in the day.
Out with the old - in with new.
Had several job offers from customers who work for other companies/ competitiors give me their business cards, as I checked them out.
Fortunately, I didn't have to look too far.
We can leave Belk anytime and work some place else. It is so sad that good decent company like Belk sold and destroyed by Sycamore hedge fund!
