I like to give props where props are due. For too long the management did absolutely nothing to improve foot traffic, quite the opposite. They kept cutting people and hours so that customer service continued to suffer for years. At least this deal is a move in the right direction. It attempts to solve an issue rather than just patch it up with easy cuts.

this drives foot traffic even more away from our stores, and our website; why go to an understaffed specialty store when you can get the same stuff while shopping for your groceries?
this will make our owned brands more money, thus making corporate more money, which was basically the point from the get go
The deal with Kroger? This doesn't drive foot traffic to BBB stores. It is a way to sell inventory that isn't selling in BBB stores or on the BBB website. Kroger has a much larger footprint and way more customers on a daily basis than BBB.
Huh? What are you talking about?
