Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

No motivation

I haven't cared for the company for a long time or the reasons why it doesn't even try to motivate its employees to be more productive.
What worries me, however, is how to stay motivated for the bare minimum of work, until I finally get a better offer. It's a horrible feeling when you know you have to work to pay bills but you don't even have enough motivation to get started in the morning. How do you stay motivated and focused on work?

@qmw+1dExJcc1 disagree. WFH had made me way more productive, despite less motivation.

I don't think this issue is unique to just Allstate. Working from home in general makes it difficult to stay motivated. I don't think things will change until offices open back up

If they fired me, I'd be fine with it. If they want me to be motivated to do above the minimum, they have a lot of work to do to fix the culture, pay, etc.

I'm looking for a different job but being picky to avoid getting into the same situation so I'll keep doing the minimum until something changes
