I agree completely, since all these things are essentially naming the same thing: lies, lies and d-----d lies. But I come to a completely different conclusion on the topic at hand...i.e., I believe the whole "pandemic" is a lie propagated to a certain end. And not one that does any of us, the little people, any favors. Please seek out the truth and save yourself.
There are 3 Branches of government legislative (makes the laws), executive (carries out the law) and judicial (evaluates the law). There is nothing about a 4th branch called the spirt of the law. Remember the phase 'letter of the law' or 'ignorance of the law is no excuse'.
The 4th amendment simply has nothing to do with this issue. A post was created and a narrative spun to fit a belief that somehow this was a legal issue protected by the US Constitution. Now its spun again to the 'spirt of the law'. This amendment is wrote and the word persons used correctly and in proper context. It doesn't have, even remotely, anything to do with this topic.
In addition the 4th amendment ' has not protected people ' per a post. Now the idea that it doesn't serve a purpose in this case (or for an individual) we attack it and make it seem like it is worthless. There is a pattern here. It sure does appear that people love to throw the word Constitution around until it doesn't work in their favor.
The 10th amendment is also clear here in this case. There is even case law (the law as established by the outcome of former cases) about this issue.
If a person doesn't want the vaccine then you can simply state your case. But do so with facts or even your own options. Perhaps fear of the unknown side effects, or a person doesn't believe in vaccines. If a person doesn't believe the CDC for example so be it. Chances are no one will change your belief regardless of what facts are presented. People (some) believe the world is flat for example.

And anyway, it's not like the constitution will protect, or HAS protected anyone from unlawful search and seizure in the recent past or into the future. Things are taken from the public constantly, simply because those items were in the vehicle during the traffic stop or whatever (and I'm not talking about illegal things--just highly desirable things). We can talk about how this country is a corporation, and has been for over 100 years. Apparently, even the Revolutionary War didn't have the outcome we were taught... apparently our taxes feed the (British) crown. It explains a lot!!! But in the end, America is an idea--one that I am keeping. You don't have to if you don't want to, but I'm going to anyway.
You're reading the letter of the law, and ignoring the spirit of it...which is essentially freedom.

Persons in this context means ----This right limits the power of the police to seize and search people (meaning persons), their property, and their homes.

I'd say, it's the 4th amendment, although the preamble mentions the "blessings of liberty":

Ok, so I'm thinking that's pretty clear. You own your body. You have bodily autonomy, you are sovereign over your body (the choices that can be made? You get to make them!) You absolutely should not be subject to someone putting something into your body against your will. That's basically medical ra-e.
The only thing needed to argue your case effectively is the truth. Good luck finding it...you have to really want to know what it is.
No, it was not stated the the vaccination kept a person from getting the virus. It has been and was about reducing the effects on the body. The shot is similar to a Flu vaccination and that is updated every year as well. Because its a virus.
Why post a link to a news article for something that happened everywhere? They told people once they got the second dose for the vaccine (the single one for J&J) they were fully protected and could unmask.
Then vaccinated people started getting sick too and were told to mask back up. Then we started reading/watching the reports of “rare breakthrough” cases that became not so rare. Next thing you know we’re hearing that vaccine efficacy diminishes over time and a booster was necessary.
We all literally witnessed this.
I don’t care who decides to get the shot. I support everyone’s decision to protect themselves however they see fit. It’s not okay to force something on us though that is still NOT going to protect us. There is literally NO proof that the vaccine is what’s keeping people from having severe symptoms or being hospitalized. It hasn’t been around long enough to have enough data to accurately compare vaccinated vs unvaccinated. I know people who are unvaccinated and had only the sniffles and nothing else. I know an unvaccinated person who felt fine but had to stay home because they kept testing positive. What it really seems like is if a vaccinated person presents with less severe symptoms or doesn’t need to be hospitalized, they are attributing it to the vaccine. There’s just simply NOT enough data to properly prove that. There is no way to prove that same person WOULD have had severe symptoms or went to the hospital had they not taken the shot.
I'm not promoting either side. But copy and post one link from a reliable news source that said the vaccine was going to prevent a person from getting covid. It's simply not true. That was never the case.
Exactly right it prevents you from getting sick and lessons the chance to pass on the virus to others. Perhaps you wouldn't need to come to a hospital and take an ER or impatient bed. This is the part where we all help another and stop the ME thought process.

So to all of the people defending a forced vaccination by saying it’s not supposed to stop you from getting Covid and only supposed to lessen the symptoms and prevent hospitalization:
First, they did tell us it would prevent us from getting Covid…until vaccinated people started getting it. Further proof that this vaccine has not been fully tested and should never have been approved.
Second, if the vaccine only affects the individual (keeps ME from severe symptoms. Keeps ME from going to the hospital), why do I have to take it to keep my job? It doesn’t protect YOU. It will not stop the spread. It will not stop the variant since science tells us a virus will mutant as long as it can be spread. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated people are spreading it so variants will not stop appearing, no matter how many people get this shot.
I’m curious to see what will happen when they completely segregate the unvaccinated across the nation. What will happen when we go the route of LA and New York where the unvaccinated can’t do anything at all indoors, all in the name of protecting the ones who vaccinated against the ones who refused it….but the vaccinated are STILL getting sick and still dying. How will we be blamed then? I’m sure people will be spewing the nonsense the government sells them as to why the unvaccinated are still the cause.
What will you do when they tell you that you need a booster shot to keep your job now? What about when that doesn’t work and then your job is in jeopardy again unless you get another booster? And then another? And another? When will people realize if they have to keep changing the rules, maybe they aren’t sure and maybe shouldn’t be forcing the unknown on us?
When will we realize that during this whole event we have been manipulated and our human nature has been exploited? Remember when the government and CDC said masks weren’t necessary? Oh but then they were. Remember when small businesses were too dangerous to be open, but places like Lowe’s has such a high occupancy requirement that the stores were PACKED.
Now they want us to vaccinate our children. Some schools are making it mandatory for school attendance…yet starting tomorrow, unvaccinated foreigners 18 and under, coming into the US do not have to be vaccinated to enter, nor do they have to quarantine or test.
We all need to wake up and stop arguing with each other. We all want the same thing. We want to keep our families safe. Just like the comment below says: both the vaccine and Covid carry unknown risks. We’re all just choosing which risk we are the most comfortable with.

There's an employee out now at our store with covid that is vaxxed, caught it from their daughter who is vaxxed. Seen an ex employee had covid on facebook , they took an antibody treatment. Saw them in the store shortly after, and talked to them about it , yep! double vaxxed. These shots don't work and the vaxxed are the one's spreading it. The sooner you branch covidians realize that the better, but in your face FACT'S don't seem to sink in with stupid people.

Maybe kids have vaccine requirements, and certain jobs, such as in the medical field. But your regular adult has never had to get a vaccine they might not already have.
To everyone saying to just get the jab: The problem is not a vaccine. It is that this is an EXPERIMENTAL vaccine. I don’t care if the FDA approved it. They are still testing it…on us. I don’t care what news reports say…they literally had one that told parents not to worry because this vaccine won’t cause infertility issues in the kids who take this. How in the F would they know that?! The kids that were in the trials (which didn’t even last that long) aren’t all at a child bearing age. They don’t know anything. They are making false claims to ease us into being okay with this. For Pete’s sake, they told us it took two doses only and have backtracked and now are saying a booster is necessary. Israel is up to 4 doses already!
As for the mandate:
Jan 4th is the deadline to have all employees vaccinated or testing weekly. That means there will be changes before then.
A company can choose to make the vaccine 100% mandatory, and does not have to allow employees a testing option.
Starting Dec 4 all UNVACCINATED employees will have to wear masks
Companies have to provide sick time to go take the vaccine and additional time after each dose of they develop symptoms.
Testing is not free. If you chose to test it will likely be on your own dime since some insurance companies are already saying they will not cover testing for employment purposes.
I’m sure changes will be announced soon.
As far as I'm concerned, get vaccinated or don't come to work anymore.
Your chances of dying from Covid, vaccinated or not, are damn near the same. There are a myriad of factors that play into it and obesity is one of the biggest. Having respiratory issues such as COPD or pneumonia also increase those chances. The vaccine doesn't do anything to "cure" those predispositions.

Seriously. Which part of the constitution does this mandate violate? I’ve asked this over and over again to people I know and I’ve yet to get an answer. Usually they just start yelling about freedom, which is nice but not really an answer. Which freedom? Free speech, assembly…? I want an answer because I’m pretty sure you don’t really know. And that’s because like most people who like to rant about the constitution, you’ve never really read it. You think the constitution says all sorts of things that it doesn’t and I’m tired of illiterate m*rons talking about things they’ve never read.
Just get the shot. My Aunt died last week because she wasn't vaccinated. Don't be the one laying in your death bed saying I should have gotten the shot.
