The results are in! So many burnt out TM's. Leadership throughout the company quitting in droves. Laughably short staffed. Morale at an all time low, but finally action is being taken! We now get to have a list of who is shift leader today posted next to the time clock! Problem solved! Great job team!
Seriously this is the action the culture compass gives us. Last year we got Team Member quarterly reviews. A pointless extra task we have to do even though not many TM's last more than a quarter. The ones that do have no goals or ambition. This year the store leaders now have to maintain a log by the time clock because TM's were confused about who is shift leader? For most TM's that doesn't matter at all. For those that may occasionally need a shift leader all you have to do is say" hey who's shift leader?" or call the shifty phone. This creates pointless extra work for store leaders that have to cover registers for half their shifts because we have no staff. Also it's just super fu----g stupid.
