Thread regarding GlobalFoundries layoffs

There is fat that should be cut

However, when it comes to layoffs, that fat always remains unaffected. All the useless managers who barely have any direct reports and who don't even know how to do their own jobs, not to mention supervise others, always remain.

Laying them off would not disrupt operations in any way, shape, or form, but since they're friends with somebody above them, they remain.

This is why GF is failing as a company. You can't continue to get rid of the good employees and leave the true fat unaffected and not have to face consequences at some point.

Amazon have leadership principles. If we apply same in GF we will know who are all blocking company growth.

Follow the money and you will see the financial connection between those tasked with hiring McFraud.
Just like the switch to Prudential, she took the money and quit right after our 401K were transferred without any logical explanation.

agree about fat and why it's exempt from layoffs.
Even worse- invisible fat like McKonsultantz, who advise on our compensation and retention policies and keep collecting fat checks for this great disservice - this a tumor
