Old school staff will remember participating in the goofy Time Warp Rocky Horror video, Mick gifting every FTE with $100 from his 'own pocket.' Those were the days where you grinded because you cared and believed in the cause. Pembina grew up in 2016 and lost its soul. Had to happen to play with the big boys. Pace picked up staff felt like a commodity vs. valued employees. Stress trickled down the chain. 2020 with the layoffs, word traveling how poorly former colleagues were treated. HR with bruised knees and chapped lips. They would cut us in an instant, so should we give a F? The family line was a lie... Fill my bank account and P off, Pembina. Toxic culture within PPL.
