The information stated about Belk Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama is incorrect. The former store manager was fired week 26 and the position was filled as of week 32.

Just kidding only about self-checkout registers to help customers. Unless all Belk stores starting to sell food items like Walmart, Kroger then we need to save payroll and layoff many cashiers at Belk! Just to show you many stupid things like pushing for emails captures, pushing Belk App download to customers are so important to Belk stores in order to save their cash flow big problem and bankcruptcy right now. I guess stupidity has no limits!!!

I and two other associates were running the whole store today. Thank goodness my customers were supportive. Fact is truly stranger fiction. Seven years ago when Belk was posh this situation was fiction.
To make shopping easier for Belk customers, install many self-checkout registers at Belk stores. Save payroll money live better! Sound like Walmart right!
Wait a minute here! Look at the cheap products Belk is selling after chapter 11 news this year like Orlane cosmetics, low quality suits and dress shirts you find in many flagship Belk stores. Belk is already a “high class” Walmart, Target, tjmaxx and Ross retail store! Wake up and smell the coffee, I mean the cheap merchandises we sell?
I’m sure they “retired” like the rest of them. give it a few months, they’ll turn up at target, Ross, tj maxx, or wal mart.
