Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Why did they not offer relocation?

I don’t work at Barrington but I wonder why they didn’t offer relocation to employees? Strange.

Unless you are a high enough rung on the ladder, you ain't getting squat. In other words, you have to be a certain band level/role to even be offered a relo package. Also probably depends on what position you are going to (high demand/short staffed/hard to fill).

My department was let go earlier this year. The managers only went to bat for the ones making very little money. Most of the level 2 (yes-- level 2) went from 39k to 44k kept their jobs.

I have worked for PEP for 40+ years. They severanced me 4 years before Medicare. Should have been able to keep cashing the checks but they figured out i didn't do anything daily. I did things to build this company and they threw me out on the street with a lousy 1 year payment

Site specific roles and terrible old blockers don't deserve special privileges.
