Can anyone specifically define how much of an issue this is? Regions? Machine models? Duration? I’m being told this isn’t a big problem which makes me think… this is a really big problem!

It’s not My fault You don’t have supplies. 🤷
The supply warehouse consolidation was purely to save money. There wasn't even a BB project done for it. We have FB to thank for it, who reports to Steve B.
It's an absolute DISASTER. If a supply item isn't on backorder (rare), it still doesn't even ship out for 5 to 10 days after the order is placed because they can't find enough workers to pick/pack/ship. And there are trailers filled with supplies sitting in the parking lots because they don't have people and/or space inside to unload them.
Probably another Black Belt project that on paper looked good but in reality
is unworkable and makes no sense to those in the day to day work activities.
Just another Xerox one step forward and three steps backward..
Xerox, ..so cutting edge. This is a classic example of someone on the board of directors saying. “Hey guys watch this…”. Absolutely No Clue. 6 steps beyond Completely Useless. 🤭
I would feel safer in a jet plane going 600mph strait into the Desert 🌵 floor.
What an absolutely BRILLIANT idea it was to go from 3 supply warehouses down to just ONE on the direct side. There used to be one in CA, one in TX, and one in NJ (all managed by TechData) but apparently getting supplies to customers on time just costs too much, so now it's all done through one warehouse in Indianapolis that's managed by Ryder. And what an absolute **** show that has been.
Then you have the issue with Versant drums that's been going on since March. They don't even know what's causing this latest issue. The solution seems to be "just ship more out". Except they're on BACKORDER.
Honestly, there are too many more issues with supplies manufacturing and shipping to even write about.
We haven’t been able to keep regular stock of toner for over a year now, how is this new information?
Big problem.
Relevance to Layoff equation as follows: No toner multiplied by no click revenue divided by the square root of pi = more layoffs.
What is the relevance of this question to this layoff forum?
Been a problem in the Midwest. Have been taking them out of used copiers and even vacuuming out the waste toner cartridges too.
