Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

When I dip you dip we dip

Ahh these stocks crashing are not a good sign! They keep going down!
It’s almost a joke when the next round of layoffs will be…has to be soon especially with all these part timers that have been hired.

Don’t worry, there are only two other employees in the store and one has to stay by the register. Highly doubtful anyone will smell it.

Layoffs seem doubtful as previous posters have mentioned, we barely have anyone. I think the only way the company can stop bleeding money is to expedite the process of closing some low performing stores and try to get back on track. But optics wise nothing looks good for the company right now.

I was Somewhat happy, hard working and an Ops Mgr. It was impossible to compete against my micro managing, yet detached Mgr. I did flinch when they offered the severance and now happily in another job actually making more.

How about laying off all of the people they hired to replace the people they laid off in March 2020?
