Word to the wise! Unless you have 20+ years I would leave State Farm NOW!!! Start over somewhere else while the job market is great! Get out of insurance! Some of the current forecasts for our current staffing problems do not go away for at least the next 2 years. It will only get better if they can find more efficiency from technology that is due to roll out, which is a long shot. That fact of the matter is that State Farm, like everyone else, can't hire people to do the work and will never be able to. They have exhausted their options and not an employer of choice. It's only going to get worse. We are loosing/firing people faster than they can be replaced. The mandatory OT is not going to stop for a longggggg time! The pressure will get worse, and Execs could care less! Sweep the bodies to the side and bring in another one. Our starting wages are basically competitive with the local fast food restaurant. The pay is a joke for what they are asking for from employees today! It will eventually be sent out of the country. Make the leap! I'm going too! For the sake of my health, sanity, and overall well being. That place is a daily arrsss beating and then some!

Crazy reply to this post. What the OP says I could have said myself because it’s pretty fu--ing true. What makes you think this isn’t what many people think because it’s the experience here and not just one person posting over and over di--head?
